Emeritus Professor Laurence Melton, University of Auckland.
Professor Melton’s career stretches over 40 years. He was appointed the first Professor of Food Chemistry at Auckland University to lead research in food sciences in New Zealand and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists and Fellow of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology.
Professor Melton has published more than 100 scientific and technical papers and a similar number of book reviews.
